Another grub rescue prompt problem
I was previously using ubuntu 12.04 & now i'm installing ubuntu 13.04 but
stuck with the grub rescue prompt.
I thought this should have been automatically handled by ubuntu as i
choose the option to erase the current disk & then install. I don't have
any multiple partitions(other than the swap partition created by ubuntu
during install) or multiple operating systems involved either.
Tried searching here as well as on google & tried almost everything i
could find. (e2)fsck, (re-install/update/purge-then-install) grub, go
through ubuntu installation again etc. multiple times but still not
working. No errors reported during both filesystem check or installing
grub
Here's the grub repair tool's url- http://paste.ubuntu.com/6005572
Is there any easy way to wipe out my entire hard disk & install the ubuntu
13.04 from scratch. I'm thinking this will take care of all the grub
problems.
